Shared spaces for community and corporate events
At Ards Arts Centre we have a number of rooms which may be hired for occasional use. With a range of spaces available, our rooms are perfect for hosting everything from meetings, talks, seminars and conferences, to smaller corporate functions.
Whether you’re a local creative group, business or an individual who needs somewhere to host your meeting, just get in touch to enquire about availability or to find out more about our rooms for hire.
Please be advised that due to our own arts events and creative classes, availability will be very limited during our regular term times.
Our rooms
The Londonderry Room
This beautifully restored Georgian function room is named after Lord Londonderry – whose imposing portrait dominates the gable wall – and is suitable for larger meetings, conferences and talks, as well as small corporate functions.

The Studio
A multi-purpose arts room, the Studio is a more compact space and is ideal for hosting more hands-on arts and crafts classes and workshops, as well as informal talks or meetings.
Maximum capacity 20*
Room One
Perfect for hosting small meetings, seminars and talks, Room One has a slightly larger capacity than our studio space.
Maximum capacity 30*.
The Boardroom
This modest meeting room is permanently set up in a typical boardroom style, lending itself perfectly for more corporate and formal meetings.
Maximum capacity 20*.
Kitchen
We also have a kitchen which can be hired alongside your preferred meeting room, including access to a boiler and oven.
Note: Hire does not include catering, crockery or utensils, which you have to supply yourself.
*Maximum room capacity refers to a room set out with rows of seats, along with one top table or a catering table. If you require more tables than this, or a different room layout, then the maximum capacity will be reduced.
